Who We Are
Meet Miranda & Joshua
It started in Ecuador. We were there doing volunteer work we cared about deeply, but needed something to fund our work while we were overseas. Around that same time, friends who were already working in the videography industry kept telling us we would be a great fit. They saw something in us before we saw it in ourselves. We were nervous but the work excited us and we happened to have a camera back home that just would not sell! A cheap light kit and camera delivery from friends back home and we were in business.
That was 2017, and once we started, we didn't hold back. Between our business and volunteer work, we have done short dramatic pieces, interviews, motion graphics, talking head videos, product videos, and UGC content. For a while we even managed social media for clients, learning all about the strategies and good practices of that world. While we have acquired many skills in our toolbox, we found our strength in product videos and UGC content, and we've been building Simply On Brand around that ever since.
Having been married for 15 years, we know each other's strengths very well and have used that knowledge to become a strong business team. Miranda became the face of the company. (She's much prettier than Josh) She's the one you'll usually see on camera and the one you'll actually talk to when you reach out. Joshua found his place behind the camera, editing late into the night and eventually building this very website. We're equal partners in every sense, and we both care just as much about getting it right.
We still do that volunteer work today. These days it just happens back at home, right here in Texas, instead of halfway around the world. These days, work is just way more exciting. We hope to meet you and hear your story soon!
